Matrimony

“Blessed are you, O God of our ancestors; blessed be your name forever and ever!...

You made Adam, and you made his wife Eve to be his helper and support; and from these two the human race has come." (Tobit, 8:5-6)

In Matrimony, a man and a woman commit their lives to each other in the sight of God.  Their committed love, in spite of the inevitable difficulties and frustrations, is a powerful witness to the surrounding community.

The father and mother are also the first teachers of their children.  They show them an example of unconditional love and pass on to them the Christian faith.
